Hello! My name's Andrew. I'm a fourth year commerce student studying the enthralling world of Actuarial Mathematics. Aside from this, I enjoy spending my time singing 1920's barbershop music, playing basketball, and cooking Chinese food.
Hopefully it won't surprise you that, as the president of Christian Union, I'm also passionate about the good news of the Christian faith. I am extremely privileged to get to work alongside others in this club for the sake the gospel and seeing others come to know, love, and to mature in Christ. I'm looking forward to seeing how God works through Christian Union in the future!
So, come and talk to me if you see me around; I'd love to meet you, but I'm a bit awkward so you might have to make the first move! :)

Hi there, my name is Annette. I'm studying Biomedical Engineering. I love a good bonfire, and the occasional creative/craft project. I enjoy playing double bass in an orchestra or string ensemble; unfortunately, I'm a bit out of practice. I also love the outdoors; kayaking on a peaceful lake is pretty superb.
I think this world is amazing and really does point towards a creator God who deserves all our praise and glory, and I look forward to seeing a full restoration of His creation. I think the Bible is a wonderful gift that I too often take for granted; I used to think why doesn't God speak to people anymore, but he totally does, especially through his written Word, and this is what I want to base my life on.
I'm excited to be joining the team in CU this year, and, though I'm quiet, I'm not scary so do come and chat; a good conversation always makes the day! :)

Hello everybody, my name is Tom. I’m third year Arts student majoring in History and doing a bit of Psychology and Geography on the side. I love second-hand bookshops, historical biographies, quality comedy TV shows, almost all sports, and having a chat over a good coffee.
I’ve lived in Australia for 5 years now, but did most of my growing up in Kenya in Africa. I’ve also lived in the UK and the Middle East. Spending time in a number of different countries has given me a great appreciation for the individual and cultural diversity of the world. I reckon that our university years are a great opportunity to not only learn academically but also be formed in the way we think and relate to the world we live in and the people around us.
As a Christian, I believe that Jesus Christ offers us the best way to relate to the world, to other people, and most importantly to God. Being involved in Christian Union has really helped me grow in my maturity as a Christian and understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus. It’s been great being involved in CU over the last 2 years. I’ve learnt how to read and study the Bible more seriously, how to talk to my friends about what I believe, and I’ve been encouraged by being a part of a great Christian community.
If we haven’t been introduced, come and have a chat! I’d love to meet you.

Hey I'm Mike and I'm studying to be a chemical engineer, which many people think is someone who is paid to blow things up!!! =O If I told you exactly what a chemical engineer does something would probably blow up, but that may be your mind! Anyway I really enjoy it, even though other people don't always get it! =D
My interests but also my weaknesses around exam time, include sports, puzzles and hanging out with friends. My biggest weakness however, is that like all people I fail to live in obedience to God and therefore am under God's punishment. The Good News though is that God loves me so much that He sent Jesus to take away my punishment. This LOVE of God fills me with such great hope in tough times, and is what encourages me to be involved in Christian Union because I know that God's love is for everyone and not just for me. I wish you all the very best for your time at Melbourne Uni, and I hope to get the opportunity to meet you at some stage!!!

Howdy all, this is Alistair here and I am the CU Treasurer. That’s right I am trusted with the $$$ and, before you ask, yes I do like numbers. In fact, I like them so much that I want to work with them and hence why at the moment I am studying statistics and informatics.
My hobbies, apart from number crunching, are: bike riding, photography, indoor cricket, camping, hiking or just being outside really, watching way too much AFL (Go the Hawks!) or just any sport really, and being a disciple of Jesus. So, I think it is important that when we are at Melbourne University, we are consciously thinking about sharing the Good News of Jesus to all around us.
So, hopefully I will see you all around campus soon, and come up to me if you have any questions related to anything CU money-related or you want a discussion about my AFL Dream Team.

Hi there, my name is Natalie Gomez. I'm a second year Music student majoring in Piano Performance. I play classical music and also enjoy jamming with friends in our band "Above the Expanse" (guess where we got the name!). I also like figure skating, dancing and doing all things crafty.
I moved to Melbourne the year before last and absolutely love the city and its warm-hearted people. Having joined Christian Union as a first year student at Melbourne University and being part of the community has been such a blessing. Seeing God work through different ministries across Melbourne is very encouraging and it's a privilege to be able to serve Him in CU.
I am excited to be part of the committee as MUCCN Representative and to get the opportunity to work closely with other Christian clubs while witnessing the growth of God's Kingdom on campus.
I'd love to meet you and if you're looking for a French-speaking CUer come say "Bonjour"!
