followed by a relaxed hangout from 2pm onwards.
Christian Union runs weekly Public Bible Talks, delivered in a lecture style, which are open to anyone interested in hearing a talk from the Bible, asking questions about Christianity, hearing how God has been working in the lives of students and meeting other people.
These are our main weekly events when most of our members meet together. We announce what is happening, have a bible reading with a talk given, often with time for questions at the end of the talk. Public Bible Talks are one of the best places to come if you want to meet some other Christians at Uni, check out what being a Christian would be like or if you're interested in Jesus' claims and want to have a chat with someone about Christianity. Over 100 people attend weekly – everyone is welcome to come! If you don't have class afterwards then we usually hang out afterwards for a while.
We run two Public Meetings each week, the second one on Wednesday is a repeat of the talk on Tuesday.
